Charlene Smylie

Co-founder, Managing Director

Charlene brings a variety of experience in administration, construction management and board governance. She studied Philosophy and Psychology in college and spent her early life working in administration before changing directions to study electronic engineering and finally entering the electrical trade where she worked in the commercial construction field.

After a short break to start a family, Charlene returned to the work force in 2013 by serving her community as Village Councillor and then Mayor. She is also a contributing member of the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association and is the Vice Chair of our local Regional Economic Development Alliance. Charlene has been an active member of Alberta's Safety Codes Council since 2015, first serving on the Electrical Sub-Council and now serves on the Board of Directors.

In her personal time she enjoys camping, kayaking and gardening with her family, as well as organizing the Wabamun Dragonfly Festival which is quickly becoming a regionally recognized festival.

Terrence Huebner

Co-Founder, Technical Director

Terrence is a Master Red Seal Electrician with 25 years of experience with electrical distribution systems, electrical controls, networking and high voltage maintenance. Terrence is an accomplished pipe bender with significant commercial experience from rough in to fire alarm verification. Terrence has spent several years working with high voltage systems and has experience commissioning industrial installations. While most of his experience has centered around large commercial projects, Terrence has also had the opportunity to help small businesses and home owners with their electrical needs.

Terrence is a lifelong learner and is currently learning the C# programming language and keeps up to date with emerging technology. In his free time, Terrence is building solar powered furniture and portable solar for family camping trips. Terrence has also been teaching his 2 young children about electronics, coding and their new passion - making YouTube videos.
